Derrick Willer assisted the first Software House, Praxis Systems, to gain certification
to BS 5750, now ISO 9001 and Tick-IT, in the mid 1980's.
He also qualified as a Tick-It Assessor
but has concentrated upon assisting companies to gain certification,
to gain upgrades to the newer ISO 9001:2000, and to avoid de-registration.

Derrick cited case studies to show how ISO 9001 and Tick-IT has
helped and hindered the achievement of real quality.

It is hoped that the network will evolve to be able to give members and companies specific assistance through message boards and seminars.
